Each year the HoloCenter and OSU team up to offer artists a five day introduction to holography, with a focus on pulse laser recording. This hands-on workshop is taught by artist Sam Moree and physicist Prof. Harris Kagan.
Applications are also open for artists to come to the pulse laser studio in Ohio and shoot a project. To apply for the studio residency you should have a clear idea of your project and experience working with pulse holography (such as taking the Pulse Laser Workshop)
Applications Due February 23
Apply for the SPACE:LIGHT program
Do you want to learn more about optical media and display technology while developing your art practice?
The SPACE:LIGHT program aims to support artists experiment with broad notions of holographic imaging, including multiple dimensions and immersive media and/or employ light or optical media as an artistic medium. Applications are now open for project development
