Lydia Gatzow, a member of the Holocenter Team, is curating her first show: “A chromascope is an instrument for showing the optical effects of light and color. Paintings and holograms alike represent and reproduce light and color to create illusion; they both emit emotive and alchemic energy”
Inspired by the eye-opening holograms she’s witnessed since she began volunteering last summer, Chromascope exhibits Junior and Senior year works from Pratt painting majors on the main floor of the Clock Tower in conjunction with holograms on display in the Vault.
Chromascope opens Friday, February 8th, from 7pm-11pm
open to the public every Saturday and Sunday from 2pm-6pm
until March 3rd at the Clock Tower of LIC
