Artist Talk

Artist Sam Moree

On Saturday March 2nd, we are delighted to present a talk by Sam Moree in the gallery. Sam is a leading holographic artist who has been making holographic artworks since the early 70’s.

His extraordinary work “Ocean/Sky” is included IRIDESCENCE. Join us for a journey through his long history of working in this medium and to have the opportunity to hear his creative holographic story.

Previous Talks

In October 2023, as part of this first exhibition in our new gallery, Dr. Martina Mrongovius, who produced IRIDESCENCE with funding from the Hologram Foundation, spoke about its curation and the development of work in the exhibition.

Martina presented her gallery talk on October 21st 2023.

In November Executive Director Linda Law discussed the art of holography and showed a wide range of documentation from artists working in the medium.
