The new work CHANGE IN CONDITION: PART 1 by Jane Crappsley uses drawing, animation and projection to experiment with the interpretation and translation of sound data and drawings derived from the physical investigation of the site at Collingwood Yards prior to COVID-19.
Jane Crappsley is a Melbourne based artist with a background in drawing, printmaking and digital technologies. She graduated from the Canberra School of Art (ANU) with a Bachelor in Visual Arts (Hons) – Print media & Drawing (2001) and completed an Advanced Diploma in Multimedia (Interactive) at Victoria University (2007). Her practice combines traditional and digital media through drawing, light installations, interactive media and site-responsive public art. Jane is currently a resident artist at Centre for Projection Art.
