Centre for Projection Art is a not-for-profit organisation that is the leading
advocate, incubator and presenter of projection art in Australia.
For over twelve years the Centre for Projection Art has been working with local, national and international artists and communities to develop, present and curate contemporary projection art projects. Centre for Projection Art’s Masterclass, Mentorship and Residency programs seek to inspire others to explore, learn and grow, pushing their talents and abilities towards exciting new boundaries in projection art.
Their flagship annual exhibition, the Gertrude Street Projection Festival,
presents a program of dynamic projection art that lets audiences see familiar spaces and buildings in new, inspired ways. Audiences to the festival have built each year since 2008 and it is recognised for providing a professional and unique exhibition and festival experience, that attracts exhibiting artists and audiences globally.
