Testu Collective | Live manipulation of various plastics between polarized light, shot with macro for Edge of Light prsented by the HoloCenter

Virtual Opening

Usually we would be standing together, sharing art and stories and enjoying a drink. This year is different, and so we have come up with something special for you to enjoy from home

LIVE STREAM LINK (will be here) to open the exhibition EDGE OF LIGHT
with audiovisual performances by Paloma Kop, ÉMU and Testu Collective
Thursday December 3, 7pm

Because we can’t show you around the galleries Jonathan Sims and the artists have recorded their stories that you can listen to while viewing the work.

The spaces are dark and so to enable people who are visually impaired to enjoy the details and nuances of the works an accessible audio guide will be available from December 12.

And we know that many of you can’t make it to the gallery in NYC, so we are creating a virtual tour that will be online January 2, 2021 …it feels good to think about next year.

Enjoy the show and I look forward to seeing you in the future,

Martina Mrongovius, HoloCenter Creative Director
